We also offer the following services:
– Dietary consultation
– Regular weight checks
– Consultation on international travel
– Parasite prevention and treatment
– Collaboration with specialists in Vienna: Some cases require further investigation or specialized treatment. In such situations, we work closely with experienced veterinary specialists, specialized clinics, and accredited laboratories. Whether it involves sophisticated imaging procedures, complex surgeries, or special laboratory analyses, we organize the referral and accompany you and your pet through the entire process.
Unfortunately we do not offer an emergency service. We kindly ask you to visit a veterinary clinic in the event of acute emergencies outside our opening hours. You can name us as your veterinarian so that we receive the treatment results and can coordinate follow-up appointments better if needed.

INTERNAL MEDICINE
This field of medicine includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the internal organs. This includes, for example, the cardiovascular system, lungs and respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, liver and gallbladder, kidneys and urinary tract, endocrine system, blood, and immune system.
We take the time for a thorough medical history and a detailed clinical examination. Depending on the requirements, targeted diagnostic procedures follow on-site, such as blood and urine analyses, ultrasound, digital X-rays, or blood pressure measurement. This allows us to establish the basis for a sound diagnosis.
We also cooperate with external laboratories and specialists. We always discuss therapeutic options transparently and individually with you so that we can make the best decision for your pet together. The goal is to restore your pet’s quality of life—whether for acute illnesses or the long-term management of chronic problems.
SURGERY
We perform surgical procedures in our own operating room while maintaining the highest hygiene standards. We rely on proven methods from human medicine: inhalation anesthesia and individually tailored anesthesia protocols ensure maximum safety and gentle anesthesia management.
A thorough examination is performed before every operation. We take the time to discuss all treatment options, the procedure, possible risks/complications, and necessary follow-up treatments in detail with you.
For older animals or animals with pre-existing conditions, we recommend a preoperative blood test to best assess the anesthetic risk. On the day of the surgery, your pet is calmed, gently sedated, and only then is anesthesia induced. During preparation, our patients are shaved and washed—only then do they enter the operating room.
During the entire procedure, the well-being of your pet is our focus: we ensure individually adapted pain therapy as well as a gentle and calm awakening.
We perform the following procedures, among others:
– Neutering/Spaying
– Tumor removals
– Abdominal surgeries
– Cesarean sections
– Dental treatments
Important to know: Follow-up checks and suture removal are already included in the surgery price. We are available at any time for questions or personal consultations.
DENTISTRY
Dental health is much more than white teeth: tartar, dental abscesses, and inflammation in the mouth can have a negative effect on the entire body and cause chronic pain. Therefore, prophylaxis is particularly important to us.
We routinely perform oral cavity checks for dogs and cats as part of vaccinations, but we can also perform them at any time upon request if you suspect a problem. This allows us to detect and treat oral cavity diseases such as tartar, gum inflammation, or tumors at an early stage.
Our practice is very well equipped for this:
– Dental X-ray
– modern dental unit
– anaesthesia monitoring
– and gentle inhalation anaesthesia
Preventive dental treatment is the basis for good dental hygiene. We are also happy to advise you on dental care at home (e.g., food, toothbrush, chew items). In addition to these examinations, we also offer dental cleanings/tartar removal with or without tooth extractions—naturally under general anesthesia. After cleaning, the teeth are polished. For this, polishing paste is applied with a rotating rubber cup. Polishing smoothes the tooth surface, making it harder for bacteria to adhere.
ANAESTHESIA
Whether for minor procedures or major surgeries, well-planned and monitored anesthesia is crucial for your pet’s safety.
Depending on the requirements, we use gentle sedation and inhalation anesthesia with a modern anesthetic gas machine. All important vital functions are monitored through continuous monitoring (e.g., respiration, circulation, heart rate, ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, CO2 measurement, and temperature)—for maximum safety throughout the procedure.
Every anesthetic is individually adapted based on age, health status, and the type of procedure. For older patients or patients with pre-existing conditions, we recommend a blood test in advance to identify possible risks early.
Your pets are protected by heat supply and receive infusions. This ensures high safety and the best possible comfort for your beloved animals.
We also look after your pet after the procedure. We ensure a calm, safe awakening and appropriate pain therapy.
VACCINATIONS
Vaccinations are one of the most effective measures to prevent infectious diseases. Every vaccination is preceded by a thorough medical history. During this time, your pet can relax and settle in before the clinical examination and vaccination take place. This allows us to create an environment where your pet can feel comfortable.
You can have your dogs, cats, and rabbits vaccinated with us. Additionally, vaccination titers can be determined for older animals to see if vaccine protection is still present. For dogs and cats traveling abroad, a rabies titer determination is often required. We are happy to advise you on this.
Especially for older animals, we also recommend regular blood and urine tests to detect diseases early. Both examinations can take place at the same appointment, provided your pet has been fasting for at least 8 hours (water may be drunk).
Prophylaxis plays a central role. We offer sound dietary advice, regular weight checks, and helpful husbandry recommendations tailored to your pet’s age, breed, and health status.
For dogs and cats traveling abroad, an EU passport and a valid rabies vaccination are required. We are happy to advise you on international prophylaxis, including vaccinations and protection against travel-related diseases.
ULTRASOUND
Sonography is a gentle procedure for examining internal organs. Using sound waves, the structure and size of abdominal organs, the heart, eyes, and superficial soft tissue can be precisely visualized, without any radiation exposure and usually without sedation. Pregnancies can also be reliably detected and monitored via ultrasound.
For a meaningful examination, we ask you to let your pet fast for 8 hours beforehand (water may be drunk). An empty digestive tract prevents disruptive gas formation and significantly improves image quality. Please ensure that your
pet does not urinate for 3 to 4 hours before the appointment so that a full bladder can be visualized.
X-RAY
With our digital X-ray system, we obtain high-resolution images in a very short time.
High-quality X-ray images provide valuable information on bone fractures and joint diseases such as osteoarthritis. X-rays are also indispensable for assessing changes in the thorax and abdominal cavity.
The X-ray examination gives us a clear overview of your pet’s internal condition and forms an important basis for further treatment.
In addition, we have dental X-ray available for the teeth and jaw area.
LABORATORY
A modern in-house laboratory allows us to quickly evaluate important blood values for our patients. Blood tests as part of routine checks, as a preoperative profile before anesthesia, or for therapy monitoring can be performed during your appointment, provided your pet has been fasting for at least 8 hours (water is allowed).
Microscopic examinations of skin, fur, and ears are also part of daily practice. This allows parasites, fungi, or bacterial infections to be quickly identified and specifically treated.
Additional services on site:
– Urinalysis (e.g. for crystals, bacteria, inflammatory cells)
– Faecal analyses for digestive problems or suspected parasites
For further diagnostics such as cytology, histology, or special blood, urine, and fecal tests, we work closely with specialized external laboratories.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
Pain limits not only mobility but also your pet’s quality of life. Therefore, early and targeted pain therapy is particularly important, whether after surgery, for chronic diseases such as osteoarthritis, or for acute complaints.
We combine proven conventional medical procedures with alternative approaches to achieve the best possible effect:
– Conservative pain therapy: depending on the diagnosis, anti-inflammatory drugs, monoclonal antibodies, and pain-relieving medications are used in a targeted and individually dosed manner.
– Acupuncture (Western-style): Gentle stimulation of specific points activates the body’s own pain regulation and anti-inflammatory processes. Acupuncture has proven particularly effective for chronic pain and skin diseases such as lick granuloma.
– Neural therapy: Targeted injections of a local anesthetic create stimuli and interrupt certain nerve connections for a short time.
Our treatments are always based on the condition and needs of your pet—with the goal of maintaining or restoring quality of life.
We will be happy to advise you on the best options.
IN-HOUSE PHARMACY
For rapid and uncomplicated care, we maintain a wide range of medications, supplements, and dietary feeds in our in-house pharmacy. This allows you to start therapy immediately following the appointment without additional trips.
We also provide comprehensive advice on correct use.
Medications can also be ordered and are usually ready for collection at our practice by the next working day.
Please note: According to the Veterinary Medicinal Products Act (TAMG), all medications, including worm and tick prophylaxis, may only be dispensed to patients under treatment. This means that at least one examination per year is required for the dispensing of medications.
BLOOD TEST
Blood tests for dogs and cats are an important diagnostic tool for detecting diseases early, monitoring therapies, and assessing possible risks before surgery.
We can determine many parameters quickly and reliably directly in our modern in-house laboratory. For special analyses, we work with external specialist laboratories to which we send the samples.
To ensure the results are as meaningful as possible, your pet should fast for at least 8 hours before the blood draw; however, water may be drunk at any time during this period. This allows us to obtain precise values and best assess your favorite’s health and initiate targeted treatment.
ACUPUNCTURE
Western-style acupuncture is an ideal alternative treatment for chronic pain. Acupuncture can be used either alone or as an adjunct to our conventional treatments and therapies for osteoarthritis.
At the animal’s acupuncture points, the nervous system is stimulated by the special sterile needle, and pain is relieved through the release of endorphins and pro-inflammatory mediators. This form of therapy can be used with great success to treat chronic pain and various skin problems (especially lick granuloma).
We are happy to help with any questions or information.
