We want animals and their owners to feel comfortable in our practice. Anxious patients are treated with the utmost care; if necessary, appointments can be arranged outside of normal opening hours. Our goal is to provide optimal care for both patient and owner, which is why we strive to take sufficient time for examination and consultation. Modern equipment and methods ensure high-quality animal care.

Dr. Amira Nasim-Hopfer

After graduating in 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland, I worked in large clinics for large and small animals in Scotland until December 2013. There, I gained extensive experience in surgery, outpatient services, internal medicine, and emergency services. In England, I also completed training in the use of acupuncture and have been practicing it with great success since 2011.

In January 2014, I moved to Vienna, where I initially worked in a veterinary clinic before completing a one-year internship program (postgraduate training) at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. There, I was able to further my education in close collaboration with specialists in all clinical fields. The twelve-month training included soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, anesthesia, internal medicine, reproductive medicine, diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostics, pathology, and other specialized areas. I also worked at the emergency clinic of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, where I gained invaluable experience.

It has always been my dream to have my own practice. I am therefore very happy that I have now been able to open my own practice in Vienna’s 2nd district. Ongoing further education and training are very important to me so that my professional competence remains at a high level.

Franziska

Veterinary Assistant

Franziska joined us in October 2020 and has since gained extensive experience. Thanks to her further training in anesthesia, she is absolutely indispensable during surgical procedures and in the dental OR. She also plays an important role in assisting with outpatient operations.

Franziska radiates great calm when dealing with our patients and strives to make their stay with us as pleasant as possible. Franziska is fluent in English and German.

In her free time, she enjoys walks with her Jack Russell, Maxi, and cuddling with the cats.

Amina

Veterinary Assistant

Amina has been part of the team since October 2023. At the same time, she began her training as an academically certified veterinary assistant and has since successfully completed it.

Amina supports our patients with great care and generously and lovingly hands out pets. Due to her versatile experience in dealing with customers and her solid knowledge of English, Amina is a great support at the reception as well as in the outpatient clinic.

She has been riding since childhood and has always sought contact with animals outside of sports. Her pet ownership began as a child with hamsters, mice, and guinea pigs. She is now the “can opener” for a 9-year-old cat named Lily.
